Jakarta, December 30, 2024 – The 2024 International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Indonesia Conference explored trends and strategic directions in communications in Indonesia. In an ever-changing business landscape, effective communication strategies must foster trust, build credibility, and create meaningful impact—while aligning corporate actions with social values.

With the theme “Trends 2025: Purposeful Impact”, the conference brought together PR practitioners, communication professionals, and business leaders to share insights and strategies on building trust, transparency, and credibility in public engagement.

As a Community Partner, Pijar Foundation—represented by Executive Director Ferro Ferizka—shared perspectives on maintaining the balance between technological innovation and public trust, particularly through responsible AI implementation, in a panel session titled “Beyond Traditional Communications through AI-Driven Engagement.”

In his presentation, Ferro stated:

“Communication is a deeply personal relationship between a brand and its audience. AI enables tailored communication based on data and audience profiles, significantly amplifying the impact of communication strategies.”

Elvera N. Makki, President of IABC Indonesia, emphasized “We define the 2025 communication trend as Purposeful Impact. Purpose-driven communication goes beyond information delivery. Every communications professional must build trust, inspire action, and foster lasting stakeholder relationships. Technology will play a vital role in 2025 in how we communicate and innovate. That's why technological advancement and digital literacy are our focus. As communicators, our role is to articulate a clear and relevant purpose, aligned with organizational values and stakeholders. Through inclusive, transparent, and empathetic strategies, we can ensure every message not only resonates but drives meaningful change toward a shared vision.”

At the IABC Indonesia Awards 2024, Pijar Foundation proudly received two recognitions:

  • Top 10 & Award of Excellence in the Best Employee Engagement Program subcategory of the Impactful Communications Awards (ICOMMA).

  • Award of Merit in the Leadership Communication subcategory within the same award category.

These accolades honor Pijar Foundation’s commitment to effective leadership communication and impactful employee engagement programs, reinforcing its mission to craft communication strategies that benefit both the organization and its stakeholders.
