Jakarta, November 3, 2025 — Collaboration, concrete action, and positive innovation serve as key foundations for Indonesia in realizing the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045. Carrying this spirit, MUDA30 2025 by Pijar Foundationwas held under the theme “Powering The Architects of Indonesia’s Future”, serving as a collaborative platform for young generations to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future.

After successfully recognizing 30 inspiring young figures in 2024, this year’s MUDA30 returns with broader reach and greater impact. The initiative spans 35 provinces across Indonesia—from West Papua to North Kalimantan, and from Aceh to East Nusa Tenggara—identifying young changemakers in five key contribution categories: Inspirational Civil Servants (ASN), Environment and Sustainability, Education and Community Empowerment, Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Social Inclusion.

Since the beginning of the year, finalists selected from 450 applicants through a rigorous process, have participated in bootcamps, mentorship sessions, and implemented the #MisiMUDA30 program by organizing Townhall Muda Forums with local governments and communities, leading up to the grand awarding event on November 3, 2025.

At the MUDA30 Awarding Night, held at Taman Ismail Marzuki on Monday, November 3, 2025, 30 out of 50 finalists were officially named as the MUDA30 honorees in recognition of their commitment and courage in creating innovative and impactful solutions for their respective regions.

Beyond the awards, the event also served as a moment to strengthen cross-regional and intergenerational collaboration networks, ensuring the youth movement remains sustainable.

The Vice Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Bima Arya Sugiarto, encouraged young people to embody the mindset of activists, develop global skills, and maintain a nationalist spirit in shaping the nation’s future. He stated,

“The history of a nation is defined by its youth. Young people who refuse to let others write their history and instead choose to create their own path.”

Echoing this sentiment, Wahid Foundation founder Yenny Wahid highlighted the courage of young people in driving change.

“When we are young, we have the courage to do impactful things. The future lies in the hands of young people who understand and harness their strength,”she said during the MUDA30 inspirational dialogue session.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ali Maulana Hakim, Assistant for People’s Welfare at the Jakarta Provincial Secretariat, representing the Governor of Jakarta, emphasized the importance of synergy between government policies and youth innovation as a crucial pillar for closing development gaps.

Through MUDA30, Pijar Foundation Executive Director Cazadira Fediva Tamzil encouraged Indonesia’s young talents to channel their collective energy as catalysts for national development and to maximize the country’s demographic dividend. She stated,

“Even though their fields and approaches differ, they come with the same vision. If the demographic bonus is not balanced with capable young talents, it could turn into a demographic disaster.”

The MUDA30 Awarding Night 2025 proved that when given the right space, support, and trust, young people can truly emerge as the architects of Indonesia’s future.
